Lady Willow Rose – moored on the serene banks of the river Thames, neighbours mostly consist of ducks and swans, accompanied by abundant wildlife. Willow Rose is situated in a picturesque and calm area of the Thames, nestled between Windsor and Runnymede, where the historic Magna Carta was born. Its ideal location allows for delightful explorations of nearby attractions like Henley, Marlow, Bray, Cookham, and beyond (depending on your length of stay onboard, of course!).
Willow Rose is ideally placed for sightseeing trips to the likes of Windsor Castle, Cliveden House, Legoland and Thorpe Park to name but a few.
There are also several premium restaurants along the thames with mooring facilities where guests can take advantage of the culinary delights on offer, including Oakley Court in Windsor, The Compleat Angler in Marlow, Cliveden House (who do an especially exquisite afternoon tea) in Maidenhead and many more, not to mention the more accessible Cote Brasserie in Windsor and The Swan pub in Staines, both of which are situated bankside.

Aboard Lady Willow Rose
You enter Willow Rose from the deck area through a single door down the steps and into the galley. The bathroom is immediately to the left which includes a bath (VERY unusual for a narrowboat of this size!) plus portable toilet, sink and shower. You then enter the kitchen area which includes a fridge, oven, hob all fully equipped with pots and pans, cutlery etc.
You then carry on into the living area where you’ll find a single sofa and two further sofas opposite each other. These transform into a double and a single bed but equally can be used as the dining area with a small table which can be put up in the middle. You can then continue out of the double doors at the back to a small seating area, perfect for watching the world go by, reading a book or feeding the ducks!
